Carroll County Marriage License Fees
Carroll County charges $75 for a standard marriage license. That is on the higher end of the Georgia range. If both parties complete a qualifying premarital education class, the fee drops to $35. The class must be at least six hours long and must be led by a licensed counselor, therapist, or active clergy member per O.C.G.A. 19-3-30.1.
You need to finish the class within 12 months of your application date. Bring the certificate of completion when you go to the Carroll County Probate Court. Carroll County Marriage Requirements
To get a marriage license in Carroll County, both parties must be at least 18 under O.C.G.A. 19-3-2. Both must show up at the courthouse with valid photo ID. At least one person must live in Carroll County, or if both are from out of state, the ceremony must take place in Carroll County.
