Getting a Marriage License in Mitchell County

Both people must come to the Mitchell County Probate Court in Camilla together. You cannot send a stand-in. Bring a valid photo ID like a driver's license, passport, or military ID. If either person was married before, bring the final divorce decree or death certificate for the former spouse.

The license fee in Mitchell County is in the Georgia standard range of $56 to $77 without premarital counseling. Couples who finish six or more hours of premarital education pay $16 to $37 under O.C.G.A. 19-3-30.1. That is a $40 savings.
